Epic Smoke Shisha

Flavor: Cotton Candy

Appearance: A little bit dry, large cut
Base: Molasses
Smell: Sweet, yet tangy
Taste:Mild, almost too mild.
Smoke: Excellent.
Buzz: Average
Duration: Depends on the coals. A good 45 minutes or so.
Packaging: Plastic container. No bag.
Purchased From: Puff n Stuff
Overall: Epic smoke is okay, so far. The smoke is wonderful, but the flavor is a bit mild. You really have to drag it across your tongue to get anything. Other than that, its pretty nice.

Sinbad Charcoals *edit*

Tried out some charcoals called "Sinbad".

Overall, they're pretty cool. They're triangular and come in foil.

They light almost instantly and they last quite a long time.

Though, they are pretty smoky when they first light up. Afterward though, its fine.

The triangular shape is nice, because it seems like that helps it light faster, but its hard to shake the burned parts off of them.

SCRAP IT ALL, THESE THINGS ARE AWFUL!

At first, I thought it was the tobacco I was using that tasted so bad (Rosetta, Raspberry), but I used these with a different kind of shisha and it tasted HORRIBLE! They were bitter and gave the entire thing an awful, awful flavor. I was disappointed.

Rosetta Shisha

Flavor: "Raspberry Magic"

Appearance: Very tightly packed, syrupy, short cut.
Base: Honey, corn syrup, glycerin
Smell: Super sweet raspberry
Taste:At first it was nearly unbearable. I can't even describe what it tasted like. All I know is that it was bad. It got a bit better, than faded out entirely.
Smoke: Good.
Buzz: High. Definitely made me dizzy.
Duration: Smoked it for maybe 15, then stopped
Packaging: Cardboard box, plastic bag.
Purchased From: Puff n Stuff
Overall: It was pretty bad. There wasn't much about it that was redeeming. Definitely won't buy it again. I wonder if I can take it back?

I will have to try this again, as I just found out that it was the charcoals (Sinbad) that made it taste so bad. I'll have more info soon.

Jewel Charcoals

Recently I have been using Jewel Charcoals.

Let me tell you, they are the strangest things.

The ones I used to do were called "swift lite", I think.

They were pretty nice, though they took a little while to get lit. They were about the size of a quarter.

These, though, were huge! Perhaps twice the size of normal ones.

On top of that, when you light them, they spark, like a 4th of July sparkler. I almost always burn myself when I use them, and I worry that they're going to light my floor on fire. They seem kind of dangerous.

On the other hand, though, they light really, really fast.

The other problem with them, though, is that they burn really hot, so every time I use them, they burn my shisha to a blackened crisp, which is gross.

They're so big, they can be used for 2 bowls.

Maybe I will break them in half, instead.

Jewels Shisha Review

Jewels Shisha (x2)

Flavor: Honey


Appearance: Very tightly packed, syrupy, short cut.
Base: Honey, I believe
Smell: Like artificial honey, a little bitter.
Taste:Also like artificial honey. Also a little bit bitter, probably from cigar tobacco? Toward the end it got unbarably bitter.
Smoke: Great! Nice and thick. Very pretty. Started to get oddly dark toward the end
Buzz: High. Definitely made me dizzy. After a few bowls I was sick.
Duration: 45 minutes worth of smoke. 30 worth of good smoke.
Packaging: Cardboard box, resealable bag. It was awesome. It also came with 7 honey-flavored mouth pieces
Purchased From: Smokes 4 Less
Overall: I was so dissapointed, as honey is my favorite flavor. The smoke was PERFECT, the packaging was GREAT, but the taste was really disappointing... I probably won't buy it again, but I won't throw it away, either. 5/10. Everything but the taste was great.



Flavor: Strawberry

Appearance: Very tightly packed, syrupy, short cut.
Base: Honey
Smell: Delicous. Like a Strawberries and Cream Life-Saver

Taste:Mediocre. It didn't get bitter as fast at the honey did, but it still got funky tasting toward the end.
Smoke: Again, perfect
Buzz: High.
Duration: 45 minutes or so. 30 of good, 15 of crappy. It burns really fast.
Packaging: Cardboard box, resealable plastic bag. Came with 7 strawberry flavored mouth pieces.

Overall: As I said for the honey, it was just okay. I probably won't buy it again. The packaging was MUCH better than Nile's, but the taste failed to impress me. I was impressed, though, by the mouthpieces it came with. After the tobacco starts to wear down and get a weird taste, I popped on one of the mouth pieces and it seemed to fix it right up. I'd give it a 6/10. Everything but the taste was great.

Nile Shisha Review

Flavor: Mango

Appearance: Short, waxy looking. No stems, very leafy. Quite sticky
Base: Molasses
Smell: Sweet mango
Taste:Very much like mango. Kind of like WaterIce, if you've ever had that. Not terribly stong

Smoke: Average smoke.
Buzz: Little to none
Duration: 45 minutes or so.
Packagine: Cardboard box, foil pouch, plastic wrap inside the foil.

Overall: I personally enjoy this brand and haven't found anything better yet. For now I will give it a 7/10. Its got a nice flavor, doesn't burn too easily and lasts a good amount of time. Plus, clean up is a breeze. Though, it is hard to get back in the packaging.

Al Fakher Shisha Review

I am going to use this format that I found on a forum, plus or minus a few things.

This was my first time smoking, a friend of mine brought hers over, so I didn't get a good look at much of it.

Al Fakher Shisha

Flavor: Watermelon
Appearance: Short/medium cut. Kind of sticky, but still loose

Base: Unsure, Molasses, I believe

Smell: Watermelon Jolly Rancher

Taste: Mild, but still distinguishable. Like a watermelon flavored candy.
Smoke: Average smoke. Not too thick.
Buzz: Not much, but then again, first time.
Duration: 45 minutes or so.

Purchased From: Zorona's Hookah Lounge, I believe

Overall: For a first time experience, it was definitely enjoyable. I would have to try it again, though, so I can better compare.
